The Art of CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
I must say, this tool is pretty powerful, if given the right way of usage, if it weren't so hard to understand. Honestly, for someone not coming from business world, I had a hard time understanding the differences between
- Prospect
- Lead
- Potential
Maybe I should and could wiki it; but reading is not my strength so instead I ask :p
- Prospect: (according to Wiki) marketing term for potential customers.. then what's the difference between that and potential?
- Lead: (according to Wiki) identity of human or entity that's interested in purchasing.. then what's the difference between that and potential?
- Potential: (accordingly to Wiki) i could not find anything.. from my discussion with my colleague it is the actual stages that a prospect has been converted to a lead (meaning contacted and relationship established) and there is more than 0% chance they are interested.
Honestly, if someone can explain further to me, I'd appreciate that! Thank you =D
